Comment on Sectoral Determination for the Hospitality Sector

In May 2007 the Department of Labour published Sectoral Determination 14: Hospitality. The Determination regulates the terms and conditions of employment for employees employed in the hospitality and catering sectors.

Effective from 1 July 2007, the Determination establishes a minimum wage of R1650.00 per month for employers employing more than 10 employees.
