The 4^th International ASTD Global Network Conference & Exhibition in Africa, takes place at Sun City, a magnificent oasis of tropical gardens, hotels, entertainment, centres, outdoor activities and world class conference facilities. Described by many as Africa's Las Vegas in the bush, it's situated in the Pilansberg Game Reserve about 2 hours drive from Johannesburg and the International Airport and home to Africa's "big five" (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard).

The conference programme is structured around global trends for visionary leaders concerned with globalisation, innovation and sustainable growth. By drawing on international case studies as well as local influences the 2008 programme brings a diverse range of topics with over 10 international and 14 local experts, amongst others Peter Hammett. 

Following the response from last year’s event, a day of one day - Pre-Conference Workshops takes place on the 11th.
