| MAIN DUTIES | |
| Credit Selection: Spread of clients alphabetically Selection of clients Control of motivations to Regional Head Office Credit Management: Prompt application of credit policy and procedures Control and follow up referrals in respect of clients who have exceeded their limits and arrangements Forward reports to credit department regarding excesses Market Management with reference to:
Credit follow up (loans and overdrafts) Management of NORMS in respect of laid down goals Self Development/Training: Ensure self development Ensure Advances Clerk is properly trained Securities: Ensure that the securities are legally correct
Dual Controls: Cash Reserve Travellers cheques Calling file ATM cards and pin numbers Safe keys Tellers rotation Referral listing Graphic Service Forms |

| Tasks: Complete service of clients with the cheque account portfolio (Excluding IBD transactions) Cross marketing CMS reports The taking in of balance sheets/assets statements Referrals (listing and telephonic) Follow up / management of dormant and risk accounts Broker referrals Correspondence of the department as required Writing of "minutes" Ensure that the advances administration is correct and finalized within the required time Periodic renewals of overdrawn facilities Periodic appraisals of Advances Clerk Contacting irregular clients Checking of all advances Workplace Performance Technologies contacting Treasury in respect of interest rates Co-ordinate the departments leave program as required Co-ordinate the rotation program for the department Act as AGN co-ordinator as required (Depending on size of branch) Actioning of the applicable computer listings Finalizing of Regional Office inquiries Maintain a high standard of "pre-screening" by drawing ITC/KI inquiry him/herself |
