| Credit Selection: Spread of clients alphabetically Selection of clients Control of motivations to regional Head Office Credit Management: Manage the execution and application of the Credit Policy and procedures Control and follow up referrals in respect of clients who have exceeded their limits and arrangements Control reports forwarded to credit department regarding excesses Do market management with regard to:
Credit follow ups (loans and overdrafts) Management of NORMS in respect of laid down goals Ensure that the credit department act in accordance with "COLUMBUS" system Training: Promote self development Ensure that credit staff are properly trained Securities: Ensure that securities are legally correct Marketing: Do cross marketing to obtain the set goals |

| Tasks: Complete service of clients within the cheque account portfolio CMS reports The taking in of balance sheets/assets statements Referrals Follow up / management of dormant and risk accounts Correspondence of department Writing or "minutes" Periodic renewals of overdrawn facilities Signing of all correspondence to clients for department, for example, overdrawn accounts and renewal letters, balance sheet notices, birthday cards Periodic reviews of Key Performance Areas Arrangement of departments leave program Rotation plan for the department Dual Controls (Only department head) Cash reserve Safe door keys Tellers cash counts Controls: Team work of department Stationery of department Interest rate changes Expired limits and arrangements Irregular accounts list |
