The purpose is to improve the value of the Company's services to franchisees and create a greater depth of awareness of the services that the Company does provide and the role that the Company plays for the industry. In addition, the National Relationship Manager/Director acts as the central point of contact with the consumer movement and monitors consumer developments.

Example of Franchisee Relationship Structure

• Franchise Service Manager - one stop information resource for franchisee. Issue resolution within corporate office. Represents franchisee in national initiatives.
• Field Manager - Responsible for new openings, activations, executive training workshops, on site consulting visits to help with revenue management, service planning, sales analysis, market analysis, training, and retail pricing model.
• Director - Manages region consisting of Field Managers and Franchise Service Managers. Directors have a specialized area of expertise and monitor key accounts.

The franchisor should pride itself on training its franchisee owners and their managers. A training department and a training facility should exist to guide each new franchise owner through the following programs:

Following the initial training program, franchise owners are offered on-going refresher courses on an as-needed basis.

In addition to the training center, each franchise owner receives on-going support from a Field Operations Manager. The franchise owner and the Field Operations Manager will work together in reviewing all aspects of the business operation.
