JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager/Director
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A: Purpose and Scope
The Human Resources Manager/Director is responsible for the human resources function. The Human Resources Manager is also responsible for ensuring the Human Resources Department conforms to the company quality system procedures as documented.
B. Responsibilities
Establish procedures for management of the company's human resources department. Determine and enforce -- through functional groups - legal, regulatory and safety requirements as relates to federal, state and local regulatory agency's compliance in accordance with current regulations. Also works with employees, as required, to ensure conformance with quality system requirements.
C. Organization Relationships
The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the General Manager and has a support responsibility to all functional directors and managers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and Training
The Human Resources Manager should have a four year degree, preferably in a field that offers as opportunity to gain a well rounded human resources background. Additional class work in management type courses and benefits administration is preferred.
B. Technical Requirements
Three or more years of broad human resources experience, of which at least two years should be as a human resources generalist.
C. Managerial Experience
Three or more years experience in managing human resources personnel and activities. These experiences should include a minimum of two years in human resources management.
