Job Description
|
Requirements: o A minimum of a degree or the equivalent in HR o A post graduate qualification would be an added advantage o A minimum of 5 years in an HR management generalist environment would be advantageous o Sound knowledge of SA labour laws o Highly PC literate in MS Office o Strong communication skills in English is essential o Strong knowledge and ability to pt HR policies and procedures in place and ensure adherence to them o Strong decision making skills o Ability to be assertive and lead meetings on HR matters o Self managed and motivated to reach goals independently
Responsibilities
Key responsibility areas will include, but not limited to, providing advise and services on manpower supply issues as to ensure that the structures are effectively staffed in accordance with company policy. Recruiting high quality personnel. Develop action plan to meet EE objectives. Assessment of all key personnel.
Responsible for approx 200 employees
Other responsibilities will include: o Job analysis and design o Performance appraisals and management o Employee training o Labour relations functions including disciplinary hearings and counselling o CCMA representation o Manage HR budgets o Compile weekly and monthly HR reports
