Purpose of position

 

To provide a professional, proactive and timeous HR service to the company with regard to policies and procedures; employee benefit schemes; contracts and correspondence; employee welfare; performance management; recruitment and training and development aligned to the Company’s strategic objectives and in compliance with relevant legislation.

Required qualifications and experience

Degree in Humanities

At least five years generalist experience in a HR department of

which at least

2 years should be at a managerial level

REMCO experience required

Develop, manage and implement recruitment and selection strategy and processes

Develop, manage and implement remuneration strategy  and

processes

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:  TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Develop, manage and implement training and development strategy

and processes

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:  SECTION MANAGEMENT

Manage and develop the HR staff department

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:  POLICY DEVELOPMENT

Review and develop/maintain, manage and implement policies in

conjunction with the policy committee.

 

KEEP ABREAST OF ALL RELEVANT LEGISLATION AND HR BEST PRACTICES
