16 Personality Factor Questionnaire
The Institute of Personality and Ability Testing, Inc. (IPAT) was established in 1949 to develop and supply assessment instruments, books and interpretive services to the behavioural science profession. At that time Dr Raymond Catell’s 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire was a revolutionary concept. Since then, it has become one of the most widely respected and well-documented behavioural instruments in the world. During 1993 and 1995 a “new” 16PF became available, known as the 16PF5 (fifth edition).
The 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire is a self-report questionnaire that attempts to describe personality traits comprehensively. The 16PF ( revised) measures a set of 16 traits that describe and predict a person’s behaviour in a variety of contexts. It aims to provide comprehensive information about an individual’s personality, revealing potential, confirming capacity to sustain performance in a larger role and helping to identify development needs. It is a comprehensive measure of the basic traits comprising normal adult personality. These are: warmth, reasoning, emotional stability, dominance, liveliness, rule consciousness, social boldness, sensitivity, vigilance, abstractedness, private ness, apprehension, openness to change, self-reliance, perfectionism and tension.

16 Personality Factor Interpretive Report
Provides summary charts of a person's scores mapped onto global and primary factors. Presents a chart and narrative of each factor that aids the practitioner in interpretation of the personality factors.
16 PF Management Potential Report
Focuses on personality issues related to management selection and development. This report is intended to be used in conjunction with professional judgement. It addresses leadership, interacting with others, decision making, initiative and personal adjustment.
16PF Career Development Report
This report indicates how an individual's personal strengths can leads to success. The profile includes narrative that provides insight into an individual's personality as it relates to problem solving, stress, interpersonal relationships, work organisation and environmental career interests and personal growth.
- Online assessment where the link will be emailed to the customer
- The customer will complete the test and submit the test to the applicable bureau
- The Bureau will send the report to Workinfo’s Industrial Psychologist
- The Industrial Psychologist will send the report to the Customer Profile and Manager Feedback Reports can also be generated on request.
