The 16th Employment Equity Report: Tabea Kabinde

The Black Business Council says that black talent counts for little in South Africa. A newly released report shows that white males still have a tight grip on the reigns of business in South Africa. 
The 16th Employment Equity Report released by the Commission for Employment Equity shows that South Africa's workforce is still racilised and gendered - despite 16 years of transformational efforts. 
Black people are concentrated at the lower levels with the white group occupying decision making positions. The BBC now says its clear that employers are not taking advantage of incentives such as skills levies to invest in black talent.
