A new series of Employment First webcasts began on December 3, 2014. This month, we're discussing mental illness. While there are many barriers to employment for persons with disabilities, those individuals with mental illness may face additional obstacles. Katherine Hay, Occupational Therapist with Alberta Health Services, discusses the prevalence and impact of mental illness in the workplace. She talks about how employers can implement successful accommodations for employees with mental illness.
